The Lorpen CICE T2 Liner Fresh Eco is a lightweight and breathable hiking sock made from recycled bottles.

T2 is a double weave with two differentiated yarn layers that combines different types of fibres to keep feet comfortable during prolonged periods of stationary or sedentary use and prevents abrasions while walking.
The ECO Fresh inner layer is made up of 50% Sorbtek polyester and 50% Repreve polyester and is made entirely from plastic bottles. Thanks to Cath Move Release technology, the yarn wicks moisture away from the skin three times faster than other fibres.
The outer layer of Red-Cycled nylon increases durability and ensures a perfect fit around the foot, keeping the socks in place. The yarn is made from 100% recycled Econyl nylon, which is made from recycled fishing nets. This fibre is characterised by its strength and cushioning ability, resisting wear and tear better than any other fibre on the market.

ECO Fresh with Repreve ®
ECO Fresh with Repreve® material is an alternative to the popular CoolMax technology, which, according to the manufacturer, is even more efficient than it and does an excellent job of moisture management in the heat.
Thanks to Catch-Move-Release™ technology, this yarn wicks moisture 3 times faster than its competitors.
Lorpen's new ECO Fresh fibre used in the T2 is sourced from Unifi® and is made up of 50% Sorbtek® polyester and 50% Repreve® polyester, both of which are 100% recycled plastic bottles.
Red-Cycled Nylon
The outer layer of socks should be made of a material that has increased wear resistance, shock absorption properties and a long service life.
Such material is Red-Cycled nylon yarn made entirely from fishing nets that have reached the end of their useful life in the fishing industry, so instead of becoming a hazard at the bottom of the sea, they are recycled to give life to new nylon yarn.
This continuous fibre yarn is strong and provides good cushioning, resisting wear and tear better than any other fibre on the market.
Lorpen socks use a nylon layer for extreme loads located over the entire area, and for moderate loads - in the friction zones.

Lycra ®
It is very important for socks to be able to take the anatomical shape of the foot of any size, without the formation of folds that lead to chafing on the feet.
Lycra is the best elastane yarn on the market, the material of Lorpen socks contains up to 10% stretch nylon with lycra.
The elasticity of Lorpen socks is provided by stretch nylon, with an inner elastane layer and a nylon coating.
The percentage and quality of stretch nylon determines the high elasticity and durability of the new sock.
That is why Lorpen socks retain their fit even after prolonged use and numerous washes.
