Cooking system Jetboil Flash 1 L
The Flash model from Jetboil is one of the fastest cooking systems in the world.
Due to the integrated design, the system, unlike classic derivative burners, has an efficiency of about 70%, saves about 30% of fuel, while the speed and quality of food preparation increases.
It is used to quickly heat water for tea or coffee and to prepare freeze-dried and quick-cooking products for 1-2 people.
The system is recommended for use by tourists, mountaineers, rock climbers, cyclists and everyone who needs to lighten the weight of the backpack and cook quickly and efficiently in difficult field conditions.
It consists of a 1000 ml kettle in a neoprene cover with a built-in wind shield - a heat exchanger and a gas burner with a wind shield.
Jetboil Flash has an original water boiling sensor - the flame logo on the neoprene cover is not only a beautiful design, it also changes color when boiling.
The burner is designed to work with threaded cylinders (epi-gas) with a self-sealing valve (Lindal B188).
It has a built-in piezo igniter, the control knob does not allow smooth adjustment of the flame due to the lack of a pressure regulator.
The power of the Jetboil Flash boiler is 2.6 kW (8870 BTU), it can boil 1 liter of water in 3 minutes 33 seconds with the consumption of 10 grams of gas.
With the help of one gas cylinder of 100 g, you can boil about 10 liters of water.
Each 100 g of gas allows you to boil about 10 liters of water, that is, on average, you can boil the full capacity of the system 10 times with the help of one 100 g Jetboil gas cylinder.
The set also includes a folding plastic stand for threaded gas cartridges, which increases the support area and, accordingly, the stability of the entire system during cooking.
All elements of the system are placed inside the boiler together with a 100 ml gas cylinder (the cylinder is not included).
Jetboil Flash is compatible with the original Jetboil Coffe Press for coffee and tea, which is very convenient when brewing drinks directly in the cauldron and helps to filter the liquid from the brew (not included).
Or you can buy the Jetboil Flash Java Kit (JB FLJVEC-EU) - a system that includes an original coffee press, along with a burner, a cup-cauldron with two lids and a stand for a cylinder.
