Terra Incognita Platou 2 Alu is a complete analogue of the Platou 2 tent except for the frame material, which is made of Alu 7001-T6 alloy, and the design of its segments, which have internal rather than external adapters.
Due to the frame material, the Platou 2 Alu tent is 0.24 kg lighter than the Platou 2, and its smooth arcs are much easier and faster to insert or remove from the corresponding pockets on the tent.
Alu 7001-T6 is a lightweight 7001 aluminium-magnesium alloy with T6 heat treatment to achieve the optimum combination of rigidity and flexibility.
The arcs have a coloured hard-anodised surface for protection against scratches and corrosion, and retain their strength and spatial characteristics for a long time under adverse conditions.
The tent tent has two ventilation flaps in the sleeping compartment and one in the enlarged vestibule, where you can store some of your equipment.
